Terms and Conditions for Car Hire on Fixed Rate Basis
Thank you for choosing Sri Laxmi Tour and Travels as your car rental service provider. Before proceeding with your booking, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions:
- AC Usage: Please note that the air conditioning will not function in hill areas or when the vehicle is stopped or parked.
- Dirt Roads: For safety reasons, our cars will not travel on dirt roads (Kachi sadak) due to the high risk involved.
- Peak Period Rates: The rates provided are not valid during the months of May and June, long weekends, and festive periods. Please check with us for the applicable rates during these times.
- No-entry Zones and Narrow Streets: Our drivers will not enter no-entry zones or be forced to drive on narrow streets that may cause traffic congestion.
- Hill Area Restrictions: In certain hill areas, driving after sunset and playing music is not allowed due to safety concerns. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to these regulations.
- Road Block or Snowfall: If there is a road block or snowfall, our cars will not be able to proceed. In such cases, any additional transfers required will need to be arranged at your own expense.
- Pick-up and Drop-off: The pick-up and drop-off point will be the same unless prior arrangements have been made and confirmed via email communication.
- Parking Charges: Parking fees will be incurred at each location once per day. If you wish to revisit a place on the same day, the parking fee will be the responsibility of the guest.
- Inclusion Validity: The total amount quoted is applicable only for the places mentioned in the tour itinerary.
- Route and Destination Changes: Any changes to the tour route or destinations must be communicated in advance. Please note that amended routes and destinations may result in rate changes.
- Calculation of Day: A day will be counted from 6 am to 9 pm. If the vehicle is required before 6 am or after 9 pm, additional charges will apply.
- Vehicle Condition: If you find the vehicle to be in unsatisfactory condition, please contact our company immediately for assistance.
- Fuel Price Variation: The rates are subject to change based on fluctuations in diesel/petrol prices in India. If the prices increase by more than 5% from the time of booking, the rate may be adjusted accordingly.
- Driver’s Safety and Conduct: Any abuse or unacceptable behavior towards our drivers that puts their safety at risk may result in the driver asking the passengers to exit the vehicle.
- Vehicle Substitution: In the event that the booked car is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a similar alternative vehicle.
- Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances: While we strive to provide punctual service, delays and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as roadblocks, strikes, accidents, etc.) may occur. We cannot be held responsible for any resulting inconvenience or missed appointments.
- Tour Schedule and Itinerary: Please discuss your tour schedule and itinerary with your driver. Do not force the driver to exceed the safe speed limit.
- No Entry and Parking Restrictions: Certain tourist destinations and hill stations have “NO ENTRY” zones and restrictions on bigger tourist vehicles. Additional transportation arrangements may be required at an extra cost, which is not included in the package.
- Parking Distance: Some parking areas may be located at a distance from the sightseeing spots, and guests will need to reach them at their own expense.
- Sightseeing Points: Our vehicles are permitted to visit sightseeing points mentioned in the itinerary and within city limits. Any additional or off-route sightseeing should be discussed and arranged with our company in advance.
